The Global Partnership Walk is an annual event held across Canada to build awareness and raise money for the fight against global poverty. This popular and focused one-day outing is a collaborative effort of Canadians from all walks of life--families and friends who wish to help improve the lives of the world's poor and disadvantaged.

Since it began in 1985, the Walk has raised more than $17 million, with every cent going directly to far-reaching development projects in Africa and Asia. Funds raised through the Global Partnership Walk are matched dollar for dollar by the Canadian International Development Agency--doubling this unique contribution to the alleviation of human suffering.
