The fabless business model has proved immensely successful for a number of major companies in the technology field. Under the fabless model, companies are free to concentrate on the design, development, marketing and sales of their products, entrusting the fabrication of those products to specialized and highly efficient partners. By doing so, companies are able to bring their products to market rapidly and cost-effectively.

Last year, SiGe continued to strengthen its relationships with current fabrication partners, each of which has its own distinct silicon-germanium process. By identifying the process best suited to each of its products, SiGe is able to gain the greatest possible advantages in cost-performance.

The company also fortified its relationships with packaging and test partners, ensuring its end-to-end capacity to develop products, produce them, and manage the logistics of delivering them to customers.
